Producer Mark Tyler:
For the last five years, Mark Tyler has taken his mix of underground hard dance and tribal new school techno to the four corners of the earth. Across five continents, through 17 countries and in-between over 50 vinyl releases on 15 different labels, he has transported the sound of his own labels - No Entry, Re-Entry and Hangman - and mixed them into blisteringly memorable sets. As the producer of the urban anthem, 'London, Lets ‘Ave Yer', he has faithfully maintained his underground reputation, shunning the option of a major label or well advertised club to disproportionately bolster his image. His hard work, determination and musical integrity alone have now lodged his production and DJ’ing abilities firmly in the global spotlight.

He was the label manager for both the Liberator and Jon The Dentist label groups (including Stay Up Forever, Boscaland, Cluster, Phoenix Uprising and Hydraulix) in the late 90’s. His professional role saw him alternating between techno and hard house on a daily basis, as well as writing for two national magazines for over three years - the ‘acid techno’ column in the now defunct Wax as well as submitting techno and hard house reviews to DMC’s weekly 7 mag.

Having worked closely with Guy ‘Geezer’ McAffer for a long time, as well as Dynamic Intervention, Nick Sentience and more recently with Ant of Powertools fame, Mark’s co-productions are played by just about every major player in his field, including Top 100 DJ’s Andy Farley, BK, Chris Liberator, DAVE the Drummer and Paul Glazby, and also Radio One DJ’s Judge Jules and John Peel.

With the balance of power returning back to the underground, Mark’s latest projects are bringing the ever evolving hard dance/tribal techno sound more into focus. Whilst others may be grabbing a larger piece of the limelight, those in the know are well aware of his important and on-going contribution to the UK’s underground sound.
